1. Who is responsible for your information

Gold Currency is a product of Future Sun Corporation, a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act with its registered office in Ottawa, Canada. Future Sun Corporation is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at support@goldcurrency.ca.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and the identity information and documents needed to verify who you are.
Transaction information: purchases, transfers, redemption and delivery requests, and the balances tied to your account.
Messages you send us: what you write in the contact form or in an email to us.
Technical information: your IP address and basic device and browser details, which your browser shares automatically when it loads our pages.

3. How we use it

To open, secure, and operate your account.
To verify your identity and meet our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering rules.
To process transactions and to contact you about your account or your requests.
To answer your questions and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the Service or where the law requires it:

Payment and service providers that help us process transactions and send email.
Formspree, which delivers the messages you send through our contact form.
Regulators, courts, and law-enforcement bodies when we are legally required to provide information.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and your browser contacts Google directly for them, so Google receives your IP address as part of that request. The indicative gold price is fetched by our own server from a market-data provider (GoldAPI.io) and saved on our server; your browser does not contact that provider.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We use a session cookie that is needed to keep you signed in and to protect your account.
Your browser stores your chosen language so the site opens in it next time.
We may use Google Analytics 4 to count visits (pages viewed, device type, approximate location). It only runs if you press Accept in the analytics notice and can be changed later from the analytics link in the page footer. We send page addresses without query strings, never your name, email, balance or payment details, and advertising features are switched off.

We do not use these to show advertising.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as financial recordkeeping and other laws require us to.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the records we are legally required to keep. To make a request, email support@goldcurrency.ca. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, two-factor authentication, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to turn on two-factor authentication.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
